Dept.: Everything's different
This time Easter was on the earliest date which is possible according to its definition of the first sunday after the beginning of spring. This fact may have scared some enthusiasts in general, but for the first time since we celebrate our Easter meeting, there were already three cars at the meeting ground on Thursday evening. These early participants have witnessed a real Eastern Easter snowstorm. But for the rest of the meeting the weather was really fine (maybe except sunday evening): The temperature did not fall under 0°C and snowstorms did not arise until Tuesday (after the meeting).
Our traditional ghostwriter could not attend the meeting for the first time, so in the German version of this page only I wrote a few lines. And our favorite photographer had no equipment since it has been stolen, so only a few pictures can be seen on the left side.
But he stated some very philosophic considerations after the meeting:
- There was less forest at the meeting site.
Yes, the keepers of the Cselley-Mühle
have cleared a very romatic area.
- There were less participants.
The intimic circle was a little bit more intimic than the years before, but
35 cars have found their way to the meeting.
- There was no beer cooling bathtub.
Our intension this time was to give you a meeting with etiquette(s on the bottles).
The pleasant accompaniment was that our hands did not fall off because of the
nearly freezing water of the bathtub when fetching some beers out of it!
- I went to bed with my wife (I mean, at the same time).
This is correct, this happens really seldomly (I mean, the term which is written
in brackets).
- It was shorter than usal (for me and some others), only one night!
And because of that fact, some others began already on Thursday, so
the total amount of nights is correct again.
Most of the participants left the meeting already on sunday, so the whole meeting found asylum from the heavy rain in the welcome tent in the evening.
